School Dinners & Allergies
We are delighted to be working with Shire Services for our food provision throughout the school day, including breakfast club, lunch times and snacks for After School Club.
They are able to provide us with fresh, locally sourced food and a variety of choices for the children to enjoy. We also have a daily salad bar, fresh fruit and in KS2 we have additional choices available from the 'Deli Bar'!
School dinners currently cost will be £2.60 a day (or £13 a week). For pupils eligible for the Discounted Meal Scheme, click here to apply.
School meals are paid for in advance, either Weekly or Half-Termly. Meals should be paid for using the SimsPay app. Notification of changes from sandwiches to school dinners must be made prior to the week starting to ensure that we are able to inform our suppliers in enough time. If you do wish to change your child's meal pattern, please contact the school office.

At Warstones Primary School, the safety and wellbeing of our pupils is our highest priority. All Warstones staff, along with the Shires kitchen team, have received comprehensive allergy awareness training, including the latest updates outlined in Benedict's Law.
We operate a robust and consistent allergy management system using Orange and Red allergy alert cards, ensuring that pupils' dietary and medical needs are clearly identified and carefully considered at all times. This systematic approach helps us maintain a safe environment and provides reassurance to families that allergies are managed with the utmost care and attention.
