Safeguarding
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are fully committed to ensuring that every child feels safe, supported, and able to thrive within our school community. Our staff are rigorously trained to recognise and respond to any concerns, and we maintain a vigilant culture where the welfare of children is always the highest priority. This includes clear procedures for reporting concerns, a dedicated safeguarding team, comprehensive safer recruitment practices, and regular safeguarding training for all staff. We also promote pupil voice, teach children how to stay safe (including online safety), and ensure that secure site systems and risk assessments are consistently in place.
We are meticulous in our record-keeping and information sharing, maintaining accurate, confidential, and up-to-date safeguarding records to support effective decision-making and continuity of care. Concerns are logged promptly, monitored closely, and followed up in a timely manner, ensuring no child is overlooked. We believe that safeguarding is a shared responsibility and work closely with families, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child. This includes early help support, regular communication with parents, and partnership working with safeguarding professionals. Through open communication, partnership, and trust, we aim to build strong relationships that promote the safety, wellbeing, and development of all our pupils.
