School Council

School Council is an integral part of our school community. It allows our children to have a voice within our school and to contribute to community events. The School Council is also responsible for our fundraising days including Children in Need, Comic Relief and Christmas Jumper Day.

School Councillors need to be voted for in our democratic 'Election Day' which was held on Tuesday 21st September. Each student from Year 1- Year 6 met the balloting officer (co-chair of governors), entered their voting booth and cast their vote.

In order to encourage their peers to vote for them, prospective councillors prepared their manifestos and posters (some even made badges!) outlining why they think they would be a good School Councillor and presented these to their classes.
